Attorney Dean Spina is scheduled to present at an upcoming National Business Institute (NBI) seminar on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013. The program is entitled "The Affordable Care Act: What Employers Need to Know" and aims to help employers ensure compliance and make informed choices regarding the health plans under Affordable Care Act mandates that will go into effect in 2014 and 2015.
Mr. Spina's presentations include: 2015 "Play or Pay" Mandate: Employer Shared Responsibility, W-2 Reporting Requirements (Including Flex Credits and EAPs), and Avoiding Retaliation and Interference Claims. He will be presenting with two other Cedar Rapids attorneys. The seminar will take place at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center, 525 33rd Avenue, SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
