Background
Matt is the chair of the Firm's Real Estate Practice Group. He has been involved in transactions representing developers, investors, financial institutions, and business owners across a wide array of commercial real estate asset classes, including industrial, retail, hospitality, office, agricultural, and multi-family. Matt’s experience encompasses sales and acquisitions, financing (including Small Business Administration (SBA) and public bond financing), secured transactions, mechanic’s liens, loan restructuring, bankruptcy, property management, zoning and land use, leasing, development, and public-private development incentives, including tax increment financing (TIF), workforce housing, and enterprise zone.
