William J. Neppl
earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South
Dakota in 1973, his master's degree in Public Administration from
the University of Iowa in 1974, and his law degree from the University
of Iowa, with honors, in 1978. |

Mr. Neppl is licensed to practice in the Iowa State Courts.

Mr. Neppl is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association and the Linn County Bar Association. He is a member of the Business, Taxation and Real Estate Sections of the American Bar Association and is a member of the Real Estate, Business, Taxation and Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning and Probate Law Sections of the Iowa State Bar Association. He has also served on the Title Standards Committee of the ISBA Real Estate Section. He is currently a member the Cedar Rapids Estate Planning Council and has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as President. He is chair of the Linn County Bar Association Title Standards Committee and a member of Attorneys for Family-Held Enterprises.
Mr. Neppl periodically presents at various continuing legal education programs. His most recent professional publications include:

Mr. Neppl is a member of the Cedar Rapids Country Club Board of Directors. He has served on the Cedar Rapids IMAX/Science Station Board of Directors, the First Congregational Church Council, the Marion, Iowa, YMCA Board and the Grant Wood Area Chapter of the American Red Cross. He has been a volunteer for Mount Mercy College, Tanager Place and the YMCA. Mr. Neppl is a graduate of the Leadership for Five Seasons Program of the Greater Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce. |
