Michael J. Pugh earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa in 1987 and received his law degree from Indiana University in 1991. Before joining Bradley and Riley PC in 2003, Mr. Pugh practiced with Phelan, Tucker, Mullen, Walker, Tucker & Gelman L.L.P in Iowa City and with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office in Chicago, Illinois. |

Mr. Pugh is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar Association, and the Johnson County Bar Association. He has co-chaired the Title Standards/Real Estate Committee of the Johnson County Bar Association since 1999. He has co-authored professional publications including:

In addition to professional memberships and activities, Mr. Pugh is active in the Iowa City community. Mr. Pugh has volunteered his time to Iowa City High School, serving as a Varsity Assistant Football Coach since 1994. Mr. Pugh is a 1996 graduate of the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Program and served on the Program Council from 1998 to 2001 and was a leader of the Community Economics session from 2000 to 2004. Mr. Pugh was President of the City High Alumni Association from 2002 to 2004 and served as a Director from 1997 to 2005. Mr. Pugh is on the Finance Council at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is a past Director and Treasurer of the Iowa City Downtown Association and past Chair and Vice-Chair of the Iowa City Historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Pugh was also an Adjunct Lecturer for the University of Iowa College of Business for the 2004-2005 school year. He is Past President of the Greater Iowa City Area Homebuilder's Association and serves on the Legislative Council of that organization. |
