Janice J. Kerkove received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University, summa cum laude, in 1995 and received her law degree from Drake University, with highest honors, in 1999, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. |

Memberships and Positions: |
Ms. Kerkove is a member of the American Bar Association, the Iowa State Bar
Association, and the Linn County Bar Association. She is an active member of the
Probate Property and Trust Law Section of the Iowa State Bar Association. Ms. Kerkove was appointed to serve on the Section Council from 2004-2010, served as Secretary from 2004-2005, and chaired the Section from 2007-2008. She also serves as Chair of the Probate Manual Committee and co-edited the December 2006 Edition of the ISBA Probate Manual published in June 2007.
Ms. Kerkove is a member of the Cedar Rapids Estate Planning Council and previously served as the attorney representative on the Estate Planning Council Board. She co-chaired the Iowa Forty-Eighth Annual Spring Tax Institute and authored the Probate and Trust Law chapter of the Iowa Legal Research Guide published in 2003. Ms. Kerkove has also presented seminars on estate planning, probate and trust law topics. |

In addition to professional memberships and activities, Ms. Kerkove is active in the Cedar Rapids community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Finance Committee for Horizons, A Family Service Alliance and serves as Bradley & Riley's Team Captain for the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk. She has previously volunteered for Hospice, participated in the Professional Women's Network, and served on the Board of Directors of the Professional and Technical Diversity Network of Cedar Rapids/Iowa City. Ms. Kerkove is a 2007 recipient of the Corridor Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Award. |
