Green Initiatives Launched

Bradley & Riley PC is partnering with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) WasteWise Program by committing to reduce our use of paper by 20% and by increasing our recycling efforts to benefit the environment.
Bradley & Riley also joined the American Bar Association's (ABA) EPA Law Office Climate Challenge which encourages firms to adopt best practices for office paper management. The firm is the first in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City to join over 200 law offices across the country who are also committed to conserving natural resources.
Law offices are typically paper-intensive, but we are utilizing guidance of the ABA and software programs that were already in place to try to significantly reduce its paper consumption. The firm created a Green Team to implement the best practices, set up training, roll out additional green initiatives and encourage everyone in the two offices to participate to the fullest extent.
MidAmerican Energy, Alliant Energy, City Carton Recycling, Iowa City Landfill and Recycling Center, Linn County's Solid Waste Agency along with other businesses provided resources to help Bradley & Riley launch their green initiative firm-wide, encouraging individuals to implement green activities at home as well as at the workplace.
