Education and Experience:

Mr. Carstens earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1987 and his master's degree from The American University in 1994. In 1998, Mr. Carstens received his law degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa, where he also served as a Note & Comment Editor on the Iowa Law Review. Before joining Bradley & Riley PC, Mr. Carstens practiced with Dickinson Wright PLLC in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Carstens is licensed to practice in the Iowa, Illinois and Michigan State Courts.

Mr. Carstens is a member of the Linn County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Litigation and Antitrust Sections of the American Bar Association and a former appointed member of the Committee on Character and Fitness, District H, of the State Bar of Michigan.
